CP Group designed and installed this new technologically advanced MRF in Texas, which is capable of processing more than 140,000 tons of material yearly. The facility uses a highly automated monitoring system with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) to continually monitor operations, as well as optical sorting technology to maximize recovery of plastics. The recycling system is capable of processing approximately 35 tons per hour of residential single stream material, and 25 tons per hour of commercial and industrial recyclable material, from communities, businesses and industry throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
